Founder's Bio

The N.E.R.D.Y Tutor is founded by an academic and a lecturer of law, who has multiple degrees and experience in teaching and learning. The founder, Ntebo Lauretta Morudu, studied Bachelor of Education at the University of Pretoria. She had the experiential opportunity to teach at various public schools and including Pretoria Boys High School, where she taught Accounting, Business Studies and Economics; Laudium Primary School, where she taught EMS subjects to grade 4-7 learners. She also completed her mandatory service in fulfilment of her experiential training for her education degree by teaching inmates at Baviaanspoort Correctional Services. Where she also taught Accounting, Economics and Business Management.

She also acquired an LLB (Law) degree from the University of Pretoria. Where she was also involved in tutoring commercial (BCom) and law (LLB) subjects for a physical-based tutoring company. She also holds a Magister Legum (LLM) in customary law. She has experience in lecturing and she provided her services to the University of Pretoria as an Academic Associate and Rhodes University as a full-time lecturer. She is a dedicated and professional researcher and has written a research paper in fulfilment of her Bachelor of Education degree, on, 'learning needs and use of learning methods to enhance the learning abilities in learners'. Through her observatory research, she pinpoints different learning needs and ways to integrate technology or digital resources to cater to different learning incapability. She is passionate about learning, research and education and that is why she has collaborated with experts likewise to build a company that cares about students' success. She holds herself and her team as innovative, flexible and knowledgeable and, 'that is what makes us the best educational consultants in the country.'
